KAVINSKY, ALSO KNOWN as vincent belorgey (born july 31st 1975), is a french eletropop/electronic artist who's collaborated with artists like daft punk and Sebastian. The name 'kavinsky' comes from the fictional character vincent himself created based on a story about him crashing his testarossa, coming back as a zombie and creating electronic music in 2006. Vincent belorgeys first project was in 2006 and was titled 'teddy boy' (hence the year of kavinskys debut being 2006). After gaining huge success after dropping another ep called '1986' in 2007, kavinsky was then touring with artists like daft punk and justice. 

since then he has had multiple successful projects like nightcall which was featured in the title sequence of the film drive. in 2013 he released the project 'outrun' (named after saga's hit video game which also featured a testarossa), featuring nightfall as one of the tracks it contained. this project soon received a successful embrace with it being in the charts worldwide.
